Balloo is 5 miles south of Comber (8.5 miles south of Newtownards), on the A22. The main approach route from Belfast is via Dundonald and Comber (see also inset map, Right).

Belfast visitors may also choose to come via Castlereagh and Ballygowan - following the Killinchy sign post at the Ballygowan roundabout.

Local visitors from Downpatrick, Ballynahinch and Lisburn areas may take Station Road from Saintfield (B6) towards Killinchy and turn left at the Killinchy road sign - along a country road that leads directly to Balloo village.
