Walter Watson

The Company was founded by Walter Watson in 1967, operating as a Sole Trader manufacturing a small range of agricultural equipment, out of premises at Dunmore, Ballynahinch.

The Company outgrew the premises in Dunmore and in 1974 moved to a larger site on the Ballylough Road outside Castlewellan. After 30 years of diversification and expansion Walter Watson Ltd now operates in four market sectors:

• Structural Steel
• Cranes & Hoists
• Rebar
• Steel Stockholding

The company's headquarters is based at its 16 acre site at Ballylough Rd, near Castlewellan.

The Company remains a family-owned business under the Chairmanship of the founder Walter Watson who, through Investment in premises, equipment and most importantly, people, over the last 30 years has seen the company go from strength to strength.
